Reunión del Capítulo Panamericano de
Linfología 2007

 El
24 de mayo de 2007 se realizó en el Catalinas Park Hotel de la
ciudad de San
Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, la reunión anual del Capítulo
Panamericano de Linfología (CAPAL). El tema general fue
"Tratamiento Interdisciplinario del Linfedema".
Presidió dicha reunión la actual presidente del CAPAL, Dra.
Solange Gómes (Brasil) y fue coordinador el Dr. Salvador Nieto,
actual secretario general del CAPAL. Fueron panelistas los Drs.
Mario Andrade (Brasil), Raúl Beltramino y Carlos Medina
(Argentina). También participaron los Drs. Mario Bravo (Chile),
Anacleto de Carvalho (Brasil), Juan Chunga Chunga (Perú), José
Luis Ciucci (Argentina) y Luis Flota Cervera (México), entre
otros.
The Pan-American Chapter
of Lymphology Annual Meeting
2007 took place in San Miguel de Tucumán City (Argentina), in May 24,
2007. The subject considered was "Interdisciplinary
Treatment of Lymphedema" and the
President of the Meeting was Dr. Solange Gómes (Brazil). Dr.
Salvador Nieto (Argentina), was the coordinator and Drs. Mario
Andrade (Brazil), Raúl Beltramino and Carlos Medina (Argentina)
were the panelists. Also participated Drs. Mario Bravo (Chile),
Anacleto de Carvalho (Brazil), Juan Chunga Chunga (Peru), José
Luis Ciucci (Argentina) and Luis Flota Cervera (Mexico).

miembros y participantes de A5M.ORG:
Le agradezco en nombre de los socios de A5M por su apoyo a nuestro
Congreso del año 2006. Gracias a su comprensión y cooperación, el
Congreso A5M 2006, que se llevó a cabo del 23 al 25 de junio,
finalizó con mucho éxito. Agradezco a todos los disertantes, en
particular, por su arduo trabajo y sus conferencias excepcionales.
El congreso de este año fue organizado por el Colegio Profesional
Asiático de Medicina Estética y Cirugía (APCAMS) para su 23°
Pre-Conferencia en la esperanza de traer nuevas ideas en el campo
de la Medicina Estética.
Los disertantes vinieron de 5 países (Corea, Japón, Argentina,
Italia, y el Reino Unido) y participaron más de 350 médicos de 12
países (Corea, Singapur, Indonesia, Japón, China, Hong Kong,
Italia, el Reino Unido, Alemania, Argentina, Israel y EE. UU).
La mayoría de las conferencias fueron realizados en inglés y hubo
traducciones al coreano, inglés, japonés y español.
El Congreso de A5M.ORG ya no es un congreso asiático
exclusivamente para especialistas
asiáticos, sino un congreso internacional sostenido en Asia para
todos aquellos profesionales médicos que desean asistir, sin tener
en cuenta sus nacionalidades. No tengo dudas que A5M.ORG crecerá y
se desarrollará para cumplir con las expectativas y estándares
internacionales gracias al su apoyo y el esfuerzo de los socios de
A5M.
La Preconferencia demostró el gran
denuedo del APCAMS a través de la
realización de los cursos de formación y entrenamiento dictados
por el Doctor Kazuo Sato MD (Japón), sobre "Blefaroplastia
en Asia" y el Profesor Doctor Salvador
Nieto, MD, (Argentina) sobre "Escleroterapia
en Teleangiectasias" y sobre
"Flebectomía Segmentaria para Venas Varicosas".
APCAMS tiene la intención de ofrecer a sus participantes el
conocimiento de técnicas focalizadas especialmente en lo práctico.

Dear All members and participants of A5M.ORG:
I thank you on behalf of all A5M associates for your support for
our 2006 congress. Thanks to your understanding and cooperation,
2006 A5M Congress held from 23rd to 25th of June, ended with much
success. I thank all the speakers in particular for their hard
work and their outstanding lectures.
This year's congress was brought to you by Asian Professional
College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (APCAMS) for 23rd
pre-conference in the hope of bringing a new wave in the field of
Aesthetic Medicine.
The speakers came from 5 countries (Korea, Japan, Argentina,
Italy, and the UK), and participants from 12 (Korea, Singapore,
Indonesia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Italy, the UK, Germany,
Argentina, Israel, and the USA), making the final number of
participants just over 350 doctors. The majority of all lectures
were carried out in English, where interpretations were also
offered for Korean, English, Japanese, and Spanish.
A5M.ORG Congress is no longer an Asian congress exclusively for
Asian doctors but an international congress held in Asia for all
those doctors who wish to attend, regardless of their
nationalities. I have no doubt in my mind that A5M.ORG will grow
to live up to the international expectations and standards thanks
to your support and the hard work on the part of the A5M
associates.
APCAMS training courses already proved its great endeavour through
the recent Pre-conference courses given by Dr. Kazuo Sato, MD
(Japan) on "Asian Blepharoplasty"
and Pf. Salvaldor Nieto, MD (Argentina) on "Sclerotherapy
for Spider Veins" and also on
"Segmentary Phlebectomy for Varicose Veins".
APCAMS differs from A5M.ORG programs and intends to offer a more
technique focused practical opportunities to its participants. I
hope to see you all in our next event!
